Oh to be so relaxed. Audrey can sleep just about anywhere. Unfortunately she still prefers to do her sleeping during daylight hours instead of at night. Her daddy is wonderful, though. He got up with her last night so I could sleep. Why am I still so tired? Audrey is still doing the same old things...eating, sleeping, pooping...a lethargic cycle but it works for her. She is getting big. She has gained over 3 lbs. in 5 weeks. She is catching up with her 4 month old cousin, Lorelai.
Everyone is so amazed at how different she looks compared to me or her brother. Well, that is easy to explain - she looks just like her dad! It is funny looking at her and realizing that she really is mine. Alex was easy because he looked just like my dad's side of the family. Everyone loves her. She never has to want for someone to hold her. Or smooch her. Or hug her. Or pat her head. Funny how when it comes to changing her diaper most of those volunteers are missing.
Alex still likes his sister. Each day the enthusiasm seems to be waning. He likes her but he isn't sure he wants to keep her. Although, he hasn't tried to dump her on the floor or anything. No scissors or duct tape, yet.
Alex's new word of the week - it is so hard to tell. He says so much anymore. My favorite thing that he says is still "Yes, indeed." He is completing whole sentences now. It is really neat to see him putting things together. He is very smart.
Well, let's see - I have about 20 minutes to take a short nap. I should take this opportunity!!
