A sleeping baby is a wonderful thing. An even better thing - two sleeping babies. Alex and Audrey are both growing like weeds. Pretty weeds, but weeds. Alex is all about his baby sister. Actually, he says that she is his baby and that he is my baby. Well, big boy baby is how he terms it. He is funny. He has started to sing. "Jesus Loves Me" is his favorite. He will sing along or request (actually demand) that we stop singing so "my can sing". His Aunt Em is dedicated to having him use "I" instead of "my" but I like it when he says "my". She will know when her little one starts talking. Audrey is rolling over from back to front and vice versa. I don't think it will be long until she is pushing herself around. I do hope it will take her a little while before she starts, but she is already trying to move forward. I also think she is about to get two teeth on the bottom. Alex did not get his first tooth until he was 7 months. Audrey chews on anything that she can get a hold of. She is fond of her clothes. She smiles all of the time (I know, still). She is starting to laugh. It is awesome. She seems to have a more emotional personality. Still a little hard to tell, but she does seem more sensitive to pain and such then Alex did.
Alex is a noodle head. Now when he is in time-out he cries and then says "My want to roll over, mommy." As if him changing the subject changes everything. He likes to chase the dogs. Our dogs are good with the kids but I don't want to see how they feel about having their ears pulled.
Alex and Audrey have been sick for a week and a half. Alex was the sickest and I believe that God healed him. We anointed and prayed for him after 5 days of fever and a rash that the tests kept coming up negative for. The next day - his fever was gone and the rash started to dry up. Thank the Lord!
Oh well, tomorrow is another day. It is 11:52 pm EST. Time for mom time. I mean, me time.
