Alex's new baby sister, Audrey Grace, arrived on February 28th at 3:07pm - Just as I predicted. Ha! Alex loves his sister, or his "'ister, Audee". He is really good with her. Of course, when he gets tired of her he just wants to throw her on the floor.

I do feel sad though. I feel like I have abandoned Alex on some level. I know that I haven't but I really have not had time to spend with him lately and that bothers me. I cried the other night about it...silly perhaps. But Alex seems to be doing just fine. It must just be harder for me.

Alex's new word of the week - "frustrated" thanks to a LeapPad book about feelings. A little dorky perhaps but hey - frustrated is a word that may come in handy for him. His vocabulary is just exploding, although first letters of words are still of no use to him. He is always talking. I think he practices before and after every nap as it now takes some time before he takes a nap due to his incessant talking. It is great though. I love it. And I know I will love it when it is Audrey's turn!
